The iPhone 18 Pro is Apple’s flagship Pro smartphone, combining a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, the A20 Pro chip, an advanced 48MP Pro Fusion camera system, and Apple’s latest Apple Intelligence features with Siri AI. Apple announced the iPhone 18 Pro on September 9, 2026, with pre-orders beginning September 12 and availability beginning September 18.
The 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display provides a 2622 × 1206 resolution at 460 ppi, with ProMotion technology supporting up to 120Hz, an Always-On display, Dynamic Island, HDR, True Tone, and P3 wide color. The display also supports up to 3000 nits peak outdoor brightness.
Performance is powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip, featuring a 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU with Neural Accelerators, hardware-accelerated ray tracing, and a dual 16-core Neural Engine. Apple also introduces a next-generation vapor chamber designed to improve sustained performance during demanding workloads.
The iPhone 18 Pro features Apple’s 48MP Pro Fusion camera system. Its 48MP Fusion Main camera introduces a variable aperture, allowing greater control over depth of field and exposure. It is joined by a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera and a 48MP Fusion Telephoto camera with a tetraprism design.
For creators, the iPhone 18 Pro supports advanced video recording capabilities including 4K Dolby Vision video up to 120 fps, ProRes, ProRes RAW, Apple Log 2, and Genlock. The new 18MP Center Stage front camera adds autofocus, automatic framing, and enhanced video capabilities for calls and content creation.
The iPhone 18 Pro is available with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, or 2TB of storage and comes in Black, Silver, Glacier, and Burgundy finishes. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, Thread, and USB-C.
